Man of the match for me today. Simple as. Thought Park was a marked improvement today. Managed to catch the whole game on TV, thought Townsend and Hoilett looks the part too. Can't see Taarabt getting much if a look in if we carry on like this. Shame Villa pulled out a win,, but guess we can only worry about ourselves. Keep believing my friends..... RTID
Great play by Boswanker today. But he'll have to play every match this way in order to lose the nickname
he had a great game today along with Hoillet first half, Park and Clint. Tbh the whole team, played as a team and got what they deserved.
Great back to back wins but the table still doesnt look great after Villa winning. Weve just got to keep winning and see where it takes us. Worry about Wigan at home next up. They looked a very good side but all we can do is keep believing and at least there is a flicker of hope finally.
I've thought Bos has played very well since he joined us, by far our best RB especially going forward. I never seen him not try less than most of the others either.
Thought he had a very assured game... a couple of odd decisions - looking for a free kick and losing the ball being one of them - but overall a huge positive
Agree it was Bosingwa's best game by far for us but like the win we can't get carried away with it as we have to repeat this performance over the next 9 matches, and so does Bosingwa?
Have to agree. Thought Boswinga did well today but needs to be consistent. Only then will will he get any proper praise from me
Boswanker is very calm under pressure. He is going to be important in these remaining nine games, me thinks!
He was good, and has a great first touch. But for me Mbia was 'most improved' - lots of first time passes, nothing too daft.
Found it very interesting that on the final whistle he didn't stay on the pitch to celebrate with the rest of the team but instead went immediately down the tunnel.
I feel with a lot of our good, but early-season underperforming players like Bosingwa, Hoilett, Park etc that Harry's reorganisation and the highly competitive end of the Prem season have given them real FOCUS. They seem to thrive on that and long may it last
Like Stan I was impressed with Mbia, he seemed to rise to the responsibility thrust on him from a 4 man midfield. Nuts, I can't agree about Hill being MOM, he seemed all over the place at times and missed several headers. I'd go for either Hoillett or Townsend. Both looked very threatening all the time they were on the pitch, and as he wise man next to me said both were incessantly pressuring their respective full back. If forced to choose I'd plump for Hoillett even though Townsend scored a beauty.
I can't comment re this game only just seen result but most know what i think of the qualities Bosingwa, Park and SWP have ... we are lucky to have these players and i hope it counts for a lot by the end of the season.
