Bosingwa is 'close' to receiving an early release from his contract according SSN.

Basically nobody wants him so we are going to have to pay him to go. Just what he wants, a true mercenary.

If we have to pay out his contract, put him on garden leave and let him sit at home.

of course we wouldn't pay off his contract in full, some kind of deal will be struck for him to go. Club must have decided that no one is going to offer to take him off our hands, aided of course by Harold's comments.

Let's face it, it is the contract that is wrong. The contrast between this fella and Lee Cook in terms of their attitude towards the club is unbelievable.

I also predict that when Bosingwa has finally gone, he will let out a tirade of vitriol about QPR, the fans, TF etc etc.

I wouldn't pay him anything. Stick him on the bench, let him sulk and in frustration he'll ask for a transfer.

Get him playing with the seconds as we are lumbered with his ridiculous wages. Do everything possible to make him feel like a castaway, after all that's what he thinks of the club.

DT - your choice of words at times amazes me! Excellent and Bosingwa never feature in the same sentence. Mercenary and Bosingwa are perfect fit.

Attitude at yesterday's training game (Exeter) was abysmal. Got in a strop for something I missed, would have been booked for kicking the ball away and then went in to a big sulk and did nothing to help his team mates. Only player to get substituted bearing in mind all eleven players came off at half time so only got about twenty minutes of game time, that'll be useful. Send him off with Barton keep him away from the team.

Jose Bosingwa and Queens Park Rangers in talks to end player's contract
Jose Bosingwa was in advanced talks with Queens Park Rangers on Friday night over potentially cancelling a contract that does not expire until 2015.

The former Chelsea right-back has become something of a hate figure among QPR supporters after being accused by manager Harry Redknapp of refusing to be a substitute for the fixture against Fulham last December.

Bosingwa is paid around £60,000-a-week but could command a sizeable signing on fee at his next club should he become a free agent.

“He's got no chance at QPR, the crowd turned on him last season," said Redknapp. "He's not liked there as everyone saw. For his own sake he needs to move on and play somewhere."

Bosingwa must realise that if he ever pulls on a hoops shirt again in a league match, he'll have virtually nil support from Rangers fans (could be nil if DT doesn't make the match). If he want to play again, he'll be anxious to avoid this ignominy, so he'll be as anxious to go as we are to get rid of him. I'm sure the club management will use this in the current negotiations

I always thought Bosingwa should have retired in 2012. He was not the same player since picking up that injury for us against Villa in 2009. Before that point he was excellent. When the hunger is there he is as good as any player. Seems to turn it on and off when he feels like it which is a shame because he could have been a really asset for QPR.
