    just heard they have to slash there wage bill from £20m to £6m from next season.My god they really are in the brown stuff, expect all their big earners to leave

    I genuinely feel for them at the minute, especially their owner who has put so much into that club and has ended up with it all going so wrong!

    I feel sorry for them, they have a chairman who loves the club and put his money where his mouth is.
    Some of those high earning players should be ashamed of the way they have let the club and fans down.
    Not just now but over the preceding years too.

    Not good for Boro at present but, as said the big earners should take a long hard look at themselves. Maybe Mowbray should ask them to take pay cuts and see how many will be left.

    I always feel sorry for fans whose club get into situations like this. Also for the chairman who is Boro through and through
