Boro should win this but i'm thinking we might squeeze a point out of this one. I'm going for 2 . 2 Emnes 2 , Chops , Andrews C O Y Bs
Emnes seems to be in great form at the moment so I really hope Sonko is fit, if he isn't and Ingi isn't either then can see it being 3-1 to them , I just don't have confidence in Delaney at the moment. However hopefully we will have one of Sonko or Ingi to partner Colins and then I'd go for a score draw. To be honest I'd take a draw from this one, but fingers crossed we'll just nick it. COYB's
Also Rushmere I don't think we'll sell Scotland now unless we get something near to 750k we paid for him back. During the transfer window when we were looking to sell him he was not in PJs plans, however now he has found some form and seems to be in PJs plans. If we do sell him on the cheap then we can't claim to be ambitious as who sells there inform striker to a rival....
Boro 2 Town 1 They have too much for us I fear, a quicker side + Emnes is scoring goals. Two teams with terrible attendances, Boro on the up though... !
I was glad when Boro got relegated, to have empty seats in the Championship after years of crap football is one thing but to have the amount of empty seats that they had at a time when they were doing well in Europe and an established Premier League side annoys me. Same for Wigan and Blackburn. Not optimistic about Saturday but I think it will be close, depending on whether Delaney plays!
We certainly have the sign over them! I will go for a sneaky 2-1 Town Andrews to continue his scoring exploits and a 25 yarder Free Kick from Bully! COYB

The most heart breaking time I can remember was going up to Middlesborough in the 1980/81 season needing to beat Boro to win the championship. Paul Mariner scored and then we let it slip through our fingers and lost the game and the championship. I was in tears at the end of that match as for the whole of that season we were by far the best team in England. We beat Villa 3 times that year as well!
4-2 win for town, bullard free kick, chopra hatrick. Thats a definite, i've seen the future and its not orange......its blue.
If Delaney & Murphy play then 5-0 defeat, if they dont then I will guess 2-1 or 3-2 but not sure to whom!
Another non fan of Murphy I see Seriously, whats the point in the guy !? Better than Martin or Carson as a winger ? NO Better than JET as the float player who can play wide / upfront / or just off the striker ? NO Better than Chopra or Scotland ? FIRM NO Better than Ellington or Priskin ? NO A complete waste of probably £40,000 a month..............
Like many of you I think we can get a result as long as Delaney doesn't play. We need a CB combination with Sonko, Collins or Ingamarrsson in it because our midfield doesn't look to great defensively and a little slow which sometimes left our defence exposed, although they coped with this when Sonko was on on monday because they defended as a unit. Unfortunately when Delaney came on he as always gets drawn out of position far to easily leaving the defence all over the shot and Collins having to cover 2 players. I think if we score the 1st goal we will have a chance, if not we could be in for a long afternoon as I just don't think our midfield has the pace or width to defend sufficiently or breakaway quickly enough. I'd like to see Andrews play in the slightly deeper play maker role, even though he has been scoring he breaks up play so well and does the simple things well.
