Not a lot to say here, I don't see us getting anything.

Sides as good as Boro rarely lose back to back home games - and unfortunately for us, they lost at H to Wendy today.

2-0 Boro. January just cannot come quick enough to have a chance at sorting out this absolute mess of a squad we currently have.

Change of owner can’t come soon enough.

Anything against Boro - a point - will be a big bonus.

We are into the territory of stating the obvious every week now, but if we can get four points out of the Millwall and Rotherham fixtures then we will still be in the hunt.

Anything but a defeat would be a big bonus,we are well and truly in the mire.

Agree, Millwall and Rotherham right now appear absolutely key.

I echo the thoughts about needing wins against both Millwall and Rotherham, absolutely imperative, and also about the complete lack of faith I have in us getting anything out of this Middlesbrough game. I'd snap your hand off if anyone offered even a scrappy, dire 0-0 draw this weekend.

Only three home wins in 2018, just two wins this season, seven points adrift of safety ... 2018 has been a good year for me personally, but my god the football must surely improve in 2019?!

Looks the most routine 2-0 loss known to man this San Diego.

Reckon we'll start quite well, then be 1-0 down around 22 mins with Boro's first attack - something daft.

4-1 defeat, with the first signs of Lambert losing it slightly.

I was pleased to finally see an honest appraisal of the QPR game. I don’t think Lambert is in any danger of losing it. He knew exactly what he was getting into and will be well prepared.

Can't see anything but a loss unfortunately, it's getting near " make your mind up " time for Evans, to sleepwalk into relegation and lose a definite £ 7M in income and more probably a further £ 3M in reduced gate money, advertising, and merchandise income that's on top of the £ 6M we are supposedly losing each year anyway, will he invest several millions to cut the losses ? No I don't think so either and so the downward spiral goes on, thanks Evans your fault no one else's.

What do you think we would need to invest in January to make enough of a difference?

I don't think you can put a figure on it, just 3 or 4 decent quality signings..be it on loan or permanent. We may get lucky with a freebie, or we could get a dud for 2-3 mill. Hopefully PL has decent contacts and can get some quality players in for the next 6 months

Echo your comments Stretchy, providing they are good enough at said position not so worried re fee.

Key we get the right players in who are good enough straight off the bat.

Spending money doesn’t guarantee success, but it does give us a greater depth, variety, and options to choose from in the transfer market.

I think it’s absolutely crucial that we sign some players on permanent fees. Unfortunately, they’re going to cost money. Trying to wing it by spending less money than we receive from player sales, and plugging our squad gaps by loanees and freebies, are arguably the key reasons for our long-term decline. In fact, aside from Hurst’s bungled reign, our recruitment strategy is arguably the primary reason why we are struggling at the foot of the table.

Without going ott, I think we need a centre forward, a central midfielder & 1 if not 2 full backs. I would certainly have Emmanuel back rather than Spence. Wolfie back as cover (if not replace Chambers). We also need leadership on the pitch & at present, I’m not sure who provides it. For me, the only 2 players who have played with any consistently (the good kind) so far this season are Sears & Pennington. Let’s hope PL can pull a rabbit or 2 out of a hat

I think we realistically need 4 experienced but not past it players, the youngsters and lower league players we have need guidance by example on the pitch, definitely a No 9 to win the ball and hold be it on the ground or in the air and of course score goals, 2 mid fielders to win the ball, stop the opposition developing attacks, and drive us forward, and a full back preferably a right back to stop the crosses coming in, ideally a left back as well but I rate Knudsen slightly better than Spence and Evans will spend as little as possible.
If we got all those positions filled I still don't know whether it's enough to save us but even if it was would Evans be prepared to spend a similar amount in the Summer as he would need to ? History isn't on his side and so the penny pinching, cheapskate, every expense spared embarrassment will continue.

Trying to ignore the growing sense of foreboding and summon up the courage to listen to the commentary on BBC Suffolk this afternoon.Probably be less painful spending the time plucking out my nasal hairs one at a time!

Absolute shocker he is, to allow us to drift so low in our clubs fortunes. I have witnessed, what, 3 owners in my 55 years, and none have stooped so low as this.
Thank goodness for all our mad enthusiasm, passion & commitment.
