When I lived in South London between Clapham Common and Clapham South, I used to think "wouldn't it be great if they put tube stations at those locations".

If I remember correctly, it wasn't extended to many areas south of the river because the soil wasn't suitable. Have they come up with some engineering solution to get round this, or is Boris talking bollocks again?
