Seen his name mentioned on a couple of threads recently so I've checked up to see how Fabio's getting on at Roma (on loan from Parma). Roma are currently 7th in Serie A having played 10, won 4, drawn 2 and lost 4. Fabio has made 7 appearances for Roma, 4 starts and 3 off the bench scoring once in a 2-1 loss at Genoa. However, he picked up a thigh injury against Milan on 29th October and will be out for about 5 weeks. He therefore didn't feature at all (in starting XI or on bench) for their most recent game on Saturday 5th November, which was a 2-0 away win at Novara.
Shame he was loaned out from Parma. Bet thats not what he expected. He would be ideal for this team and hopefully one day we'll get him back. Anyone else seen how well KUQI has been doing at Oldham. He can't stop scoring, and has bagged a brace tonight as well
And is on a season long loan I believe, like caulker for us is. So can't see him back with this season at all.
So where can I buy this Borini watch, and how much are they? Is it digital or one those hard one's with hands?
I had a feeling that he would be back in january but his Loan love to Roma ****ed that up! Maybe if we stay up we Will make a bid. Though i Get the feeling borini would fancy a bigger prem club if he comes back to the uk. Wish him all the best, total quality player and would suit us very well.
What a shame we coulld not get him, think he would have been the difference in getting us a few more points, e.g Wigan, Sunderland, Arsenal etc
If I remember correctly, he's been loaned to Roma with the clause that they have first refusal on an £8million end of season purchase if they see fit. Bearing that in mind, if he isn't wanted by Roma, £8mill, whilst expensive, would seem a fair price to bring him here permanently, depending on whether we stay up of course.
