Yea good luck to him but not good enough for Liverpool then he wont be any good for us......a few seasons back maybe but not now....
Still have a soft spot for him tho wouldn't he be a half tidy back up considering what we have had recently
no we cant sign everyone who was a favorite or we would end up with players we would never use but paying them good money......

He snubbed us at one point and ended up at liverpool and is deemed a bit of a journey man now. He opted to chase the highest bidder and ok there is nothing wrong with that but he has never lasted long......A bit of greed set in and if he was sensible he could have stayed with us and learned his trade a bit better...He was a young player who looked good with us but we were not big enough at the time....Time has now past and he finds himself still at the level he was with us and that is not good enough now for spurs,Liverpool and us anymore. He had his chance but greed took preference...
He was already committed to Roma when he left us and then Brendan came in for him , he went out on loan to Sunderland then came back to Liverpool trying to win a regular position but wasn't deemed good enough so now he wants a move so where in all that did he snub us ?
before roma, you are confirming that he is a bit of a journey man now, just look at the clubs who have took him on since his days with us where he could have made a name for himself if he had a bit more sense. We even offered him a life line to come back but he turned us down....well the boot is on the other foot now as we will turn him down as not good enough....
My mistake he was pre signed to Parma before moving to Roma but prior to us he was with Chelsea for a number of years., Rodgers got him to us on loan because of his previous links to Chelsea. I'm still not sure why he deserves your abuse all the same .he's tried bettering himself as has Sinclair , Bony, Pratley, De Vries etc by not signing for us , but I can't recall if he was offered a contract or not .
Baroni chose spurs over us as they offered him more money. Im not saying he shouldn't have as most players would at the time but only if he had better advice at the time and came to us i think he would have progressed further than he has. as said i would swap him with dyer also but i think we need better than both of them tbh..
Dai , not being funny, but siggy chose Spurs over us after he agreed personal terms with us, he chased the money. Borini had already committed himself to Parma at that time even before we got promoted. I don't see you having a go at siggy, is it because he came back to us?
Think you got that wrong Dai, might be wrong though, not exactly followed Borini but I don't recall him going to Spurs. He went back to Italy didn't he? then to Rodgers at Liverpool. . Still, I agree, he's not good enough for us anyway.
