Surely this is not MON's game plan, if it is it's working very well, surely we are the dullest team to watch in the league/ plusses only lost the one game/ minuses only won the one game/ however, does anyone actually look forward to watching us play anymore

Agreed, didn't even bother with a stream for the game today & I'm glad I never bothered.

I think NMG is spot on, we are boring and the worst team in the league to watch. It's a fact.

MON is starting with being hard to beat. Boring? Yes, but we can look forward to cup games knowing we're in with a chance against most teams. A few bob spent on the forward end of our formation and we'll be a decent outfit.

Tedious enough that NMG is being a harbinger of doom, as usual, but when people start agreeing with the twat I despair. O'Neill has a bloody good record, but for some the fact that we're not suddenly Barcelona means a good bitch is in order.

Nigh on forty years since the cup win and some can't give one of the better managers in the game more than 3/4s of a season to turn things round.

    Shee-it!

Trouble is Sid, he's setting up teams without any intention to attempt to win games, people say, "oh we're still picking up points", really?

Well if we went an entire season & drew every game, great, a full season unbeaten but relegated non the less.

One win in 15 games is relegation form without a doubt. Now I'm not calling for his head but **** me, where are his motivational skills?

He continually persists with players who, let's be honest about it are either ****e, out of form or have been found out by the opposition.

Sess obviuosly has the talent, he's shown that but Jesus have mercy, he's just not ****ing interested.

McClean needs to stop being so ****ing one dimensional & actually realise he has two feet or he's in danger of becoming a one season wonder.
The way he's played this season, I seriously doubt he'd get his place back at Derry City.

That being the case, we may as well start the game with nine men, we've neither the flair or the pace to play an effective counter attacking game.

Johnson too looks a shadow of what he was when he went to City, now that he's starting to get back to full fitness, I expect a vast improvement from him. Time will tell.

When I saw the line up yesterday, I felt deflated & let down. Stoke were ****e & there for the taking but no, let's go out for a draw eh lads?

As I said in an earlier post, it's a simple game but to have any chance of winning, you have to create chances to score. Something we've not been doing for quite some time.

People keep telling me it's still early days but we're already a quarter of the way through the season, so let's assume we continue to be lucky enough to play **** but still pickup the draws, 4 9's = 36 & 36 points will see us down. I've been through plenty of relegation battles & I don't want another one.
Now if you consider the end of last seasons poor form & assume for a moment that those 15 games were the start of a new season, then we'd be right in the pig **** marra.

TBH with you, MON's style of play has never been the most attractive but he has always used it effectively but without his buddy Robertson & his long time out of football, he looks a little lost at the moment. No plan B, leaving it far too late to make changes, sitting so deep we find it difficult to break out of our own half.

And do you know what the most frustrating thing is in my opinion?

The way he treats it as some kind of mind numbing dilemma is way, way off the mark as the answers are, to most of us I think, glaringly obvious.
