...Sitting in the labour ward in Singleton waiting for SA9ett to be born. She's bloody lucky the Thursday darts league hasn't started yet or I'd be pissed
having watched my wife deliver twice, i can only say that boredom is infinitely more palatable than what your missus is going through. hope for both your sakes that little lady makes a healthy appearance soon, and you can enjoy the whole weekend with the head-wetting
My wife was in labour for 36 hours on our second, so let us know when she arrives mate. The midwives are great down there, there is one who is a fireman's wife who loves football
****, I don't know if I could cope for 36 hours so God knows how she feels It's only been 12 hours now since her waters went and that feels like an age ago
Stick around mate, your presence will be appreciated. She just won't admit it for a little while. All the very best to you all !
On our first my missus was past the 36 hour mark and I was there for the duration. With all that gas and air around it got to me too. On the second evening a colleague's twin sister came into the room. One I didn't know he had a twin sister and two I didn't know she was a midwife. My colleague was a big ugly b*st*rd with not an ounce of humanity in his bones , I can't tell you what I was thinking and I did enquire of this vision what the fcuk he was playing at ! Oh boy I nearly ended up in intensive care when she finished with me........... Needless to say it cost me loads in flowers etc. and I had the p*** ripped out of me for the next 6 months ................... such is life ! All the best SA9 let us know and I'll join you for a drink!
Thanks for the messages guys, she was born just about an hour ago. Mother and baby doing fine. Thinking of calling her Miguel...the mrs doesn't approve though
