http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/winnerfull Unsurprisingly, City/Chelsea favourites. Part-time United next but Arsenal double the odds of Liverpool, who play full time next season. Arsenal only finished five points behind Liverpool. Bookies just don't rate Arsenal these days as serious title challengers They always melt in Feb, but they were top for 128 days before the big games came round Man City 7/4 15/8 15/8 15/8 7/4 7/4 15/8 15/8 17/10 7/4 7/4 13/8 7/4 7/4 15/8 7/4 17/10 15/8 9/5 9/5 9/5 Chelsea 9/4 23/10 9/4 9/4 23/10 9/4 9/4 9/4 23/10 9/4 2 2 9/4 9/4 9/4 23/10 23/10 2 21/10 11/5 21/10 Man Utd 5 11/2 11/2 11/2 5 6 11/2 5 5 6 6 6 11/2 6 11/2 11/2 5 11/2 27/5 29/5 28/5 Liverpool 11/2 5 11/2 5 5 11/2 11/2 5 5 5 5 6 5 6 4 11/2 5 11/2 6 32/5 31/5 Arsenal 10 10 10 9 10 10 9 9 10 9 10 7 11 10 12 10 10 9 19/2
We will be stronger next season write us off but sooner or later we will get it right. THE ARSENAL London's biggest and best club with real history and tradition
Since no one has a clue what the line up of any team except City will be, the Bookies are proving only fools bet on football results.
We will walk the league title next season, provided we get a 20+ goals striker!! IMO, Goons should have 0.01% chance compared to Pool who should only have 0%. Pool would most likely run Moanu close for 6th or 7th position. Surprisingly - Palace is nailed on for relegation. Pulis has never been relegated & Palace has never stayed in first division for consecutive years, right?
I think the bookies have underrated Arsenal IMO. If they can keep Walcott and Ramsey fit, and get in a decent striker, then they'll be there or there abouts. I think you guys are pretty poor value in the market, yes you probably deserve to be 2nd favourites, but not as short as 9/4. Your old guard is getting on abit, and with the exception of Hazard your midfield lacks genuine quality. I personally think City should walk it again. Costa's a top footballer, but he needs the service. Willian, Oscar and Schurrle are severely lacking in the creativity department IMO, and are part of the side because of there high work rate. That may be good for keeping clean sheets, but you'll continue to drop points against the bottom clubs, who park the bus against you, as you won't be able to break them down. And before you start I don't think well win it either, I think we need time to rebuild, which could take another season. Id be happy with top 4
I guess the bookies think four points is not a huge amount to make up with a decent striker. Hopefully the pace of Salah and Schurle will open up teams more with a battering ram in Costa up top. Oscar is pretty creative, and hopefully Van Ginkel will give us some creativity in CM along with a full season of Matic in all comps. Very optimistic about next season. 88-92 points please and 85-90 goals please. More goals please, Jose
I think city are favourites again regardless of what happens in the summer, followed by Chelsea due to there squad depth and then one of arsenal or liverpool depending on what happens in the summer. And enjoy getting in your "since arsenal last won a trophy stuff" as after this weekend it's over! Arsenal - second most successful team of 2013/14.
£228m for an FA cup, plus Wenger getting paid £63.5m. What a well run club. £60-100 a ticket for fans. Hope those season ticket holders are happy paying for Wenger's 'success'
For lesser games yes. But you are most expensive overall ground in the country. Easy to balance the books when the fans foot the bill
