Bookies Favourites !!!!!!!!

I see that the Foxes have been installed as the faves to gain promotion this season. To be quite honest I would at least be grateful to get into the play-offs this time. There are a lot of big clubs in the league this year and as much as I would truly love to make the top 2 , I think that we would have to make some VERY serious buys this time to ustify the favourites tag because at the mo our squad just isn't up to it I think.

 

All in good time. With all the investment made off the pitch I can't see the owners not investing heavily in the playing squad.

 

I'm not keen on the favourites tag to be honest, although saying that the bookies are not often too far wrong...

 

Let other teams worry about our odds - All we need to be concerned with is taking points off them

 

I'll back our Favs tag when we actually sign some decent players!

Half the players linked to atm is awful : Ikeme, Danns, Earnshaw, Bougherra

 

Danns, Earnshaw and Bougherra are all pushing premier league class.

Granted Ikeme is awful, but those other three are all just what we need.

 

I would take Bougherra as first choice and have Danns and Earnshaw as squad players

 

Don't like Bougherra due to his Rangers connection so my judgement is clouded.

Earnshaw is only ever going to be on the downward spiral from now on, he won't improve and I have never liked him.

Danns I've not seen a great deal from but he did get relegated and he's 28 which is touch and go.

I just want to see a few signings. I understand the delay with Bruma, PVA and Naughton but I cn't see why Mee, Kamara and Yakubu are being delayed?

 

Mee i think we sign for us again weather its loan or permanent.
Kamara is a free agent and more then likely on hoilday and weighing up his options
Yak wants 35K a week and Sven is undecided weather we should pay that. I think he is hoping Yak will come down a bit and then we will make our move

The new Chelsea Manager is going to want to see Van Aanholt and Bruma before they go out on loan, and Naughton it looks like Spurs want to sell but have out priced him of everyones reach. Maybe a loan with a view of a permanent deal if we go up would be our best option. It would suit all partys are we dont have to lay out a load of money and we gain a great player

 

Mee and Naughton will have connections to the U21 tournament surely?

I would think they will be sorted out once the Euros are over.

Kamara and Yakubu will both be wieghing up their options.

 

Mee and Naughton havent been called up. Their was called up in the initial 40 man squad but when the squad got reduced to 23 they didnt make the squad
