The Club has opened a Book of Condolence in remembrance of its iconic former Captain and Assistant Manager Alan McDonald, who sadly passed away on Saturday.

The 48 year-old - who made nearly 500 appearances for the Super Hoops spanning over a 17-year period - died suddenly on Saturday morning while playing golf in his native Northern Ireland

The Book, which will be in situ at Loftus Road, will enable all Rangers fans and the worldwide footballing family to record their memories of 'Macca' and send their condolences to his family.

The Book will be open daily (Monday to Friday) between 9.00am and 5.00pm and fans wishing to record their thoughts should make their way to the Club's Main Reception in South Africa Road.

Fans unable to visit the stadium personally can send messages for inclusion in the Book via email to [email protected]

Alternatively, handwritten messages can be sent to the QPR Press Office via the Club address - 'Macca' Tributes, QPR FC, Loftus Road Stadium, South Africa Road, London, W12 7PJ.

Handwritten messages should not exceed A4 size and should be written in landscape form.

    R.I.P Macca

It's good to see the club do this so quickly. I'll be getting myself down there soon to leave my message to the great man.

I signed it this afternoon and would urge everyone who possibly can to do the same.

Try to go prepared with something to write, I just looked at it for a few minutes and was too choked to think of anything half way decent to say.
