Im gutted all these away fans are jeering and booing Luis, cos it really does seem to be affecting the Premier League's top goal scorers confidence................................

  3. This happens all the time:

    - Beckham got booed by everyone after getting sent off in the 1998 World Cup, he played superb that season.
    - Rooney got booed after the sending off at Euro 2006 in Portugal, again, he played very well the season after.
    - C.Ronaldo after the above incident, he stepped up a level.

NB: just realised that they were all Man Utd players at the time. Not intentional <ok>

I find it ****ing hilarious when all these pathetic "you know what you are" chants are followed by Suarez banging them in. Sorta shuts up the chants then.

The more he scores the more he gets booed, the more he gets booed the more we love him, the more we love him the more he scores :) He's now doing exactly what we all knew he could do and long may it continue. Can't be long before he gets booked again though eh <whistle> Just in time for the Spurs game perhaps?

I see he added to his stamp collection again at the weekend.

    Great player, hideous snide.

I do wish he would cut that out of his game.

It appears to be a part of his character that simmers not far beneath the surface & comes out with regularity.

He's pushing his luck with the stamps, a referee is going to clock one shortly if he carries on.

so heres the thing. I actually think this breaks into two completely separate points.

    1. No away day fans should EVER outsing the anfield faithful but it seems the regualalry do and just perhaps we ought to wonder why. Especially when our results are so terrible at home as well. Thwe fact you can even hear the scum is something we need looking at.

    2. Suarez loves it... he loves scoring and giving them a dig.

on a separate note entirely...... suzrez has not been booked since rodgers started mouthing off about refs. co-incidence? I think not. he's done more than enough in each game since to get a booking given ref's previous perofrmances. Clearly the refs have been warned off now.

and this is yet again proof of how bad our cuontry's systems are.

I think a lot of the most skillful forwards over the years have had a bit of "animal" about them. I'm not making excuses for him, he's a hothead and he pays for it regularly (as do the teams he's played for). I've castigated him often enough for doing stupid things. His scrape down the back of Distins leg was a shocker and deserved a red, Collochini no doubt had the whole of the centre backs union cheering when he repaid the favour a couple of weeks ago. Saturdays I'm not so sure about as I haven't seen it on tv but my impression was he was stepping across the ball to protect it from the defender. Until I've seen it again I reserve judgement as to whether or not it looks deliberate.

Does it bother me? The stupid dives and finger wagging at refs gets on my tits at times yeah. Does him dishing back out a bit of what he recieves from the bullyboy defenders bother me? Not really no. He gets mauled for 90 mins every week so I don't care if he dishes a bit back out...as long as he gets away with it <laugh>

You might want to avoid pantomimes this holiday season.

He seems to thrive on it, some said it would drive him out of English football. Nah, I think it will make him want to stay longer. He's an individual version of Wimbeldon, No-one likes me, do I look like I care?

best example was at the norwich game - Suarez missed a one on one with the keeper and the Norwich fans were giving him loads - less than 30 seconds later he has the ball in the back of the net

Trying to conceal your bigoted opinions behind football reasons? We're you outraged when he hand balled in the WC. Did you love Duncan Ferguson for his cr@p, <ok>

A bit of Nasty is necessary in every forward. They pretty much get kicked for half a game while the ref generally gives the benefit of the doubt to defenders so you (even in today's girlified game) need to let them know you won't be dominated.

Different forwards have different methods all pretty vulgar if you isolate them. Shearer elbowed people in the head on & off the ball. Rooneys done a bit of everything as has Suarez.even whiter than white Linekar used to have a wild habit of catching the defender behind him with his "balancing arm" just the defenders he faced were still old school enough not to collapse & cry.

You have to battle otherwise you'd get muscled out of the game all the time. I draw the line at deliberate, cynical attempts to hurt someone disguised as mis-timed tackles.

True. He has to balance showing he's there to stay with the defenders & risking not being on the pitch to do what he's paid to do.

Fouling, Diving, exaggerating, influencing referees: its all a fine balancing act between "playing the game" and being a cheat.

I've always thought it was a load of bollox for ****e referees to hide behind to be perfectly honest. A fouls a foul a foul. This Whiney ****e about it not being good TV if its 7 vs 7 ; rugby looks better that way & it'll either teach players & managers a lesson or we the fans get 10-9 games.

Hopefully a referee will also start to clock onto the abuse that Luis gets on the pitch and punishes that too.

I genuinely think that his aggression comes from the frustration of not having legitimate fouls go his way. Would you not be frustrated if a defender could foul you and get away with it, just because you're a person with a tainted reputation?

Paul Scholes has been getting away with this for years. Poor lad just does not know how to tackle
