Wish him all the best and thanks for all the goals! Will he be a success at Man City - who knows? But we have made a pretty penny from the sale and can do some good wiv them pounds! Wilf you will always be a Jack bastard, and one of my favourites but we were always gonna struggle to hold on to you! Thanks for signing the contract that nullified the previous release clause and good luck in the Champions League!

Hasn't it just..................

 

Whoever it is will need to be given a break as there's no way Bony's going to be fully replaced by one player imo...

Bony is one of the most complete centre-forwards I've ever seen. He has shown us in his 18 months in a Swans shirt that he can;
- Be the perfect target man (utilizing his pure strength to hold his defender/s off for seemingly as long as he wants....he can then be relied upon to find a team mate in most situations, not only with lay offs but with flicks, tricks and back heels)
- Dominate aerially (both up front and when back defending set pieces)
- Be the perfect goal poacher (Always finds the space in the box, when the passer finds him he consistently hits the target...often with his first or second touch. Lethal.)
- Play in the hole (He comes deep, receives, turns, can beat a man or slide inch perfect passes in behind the defence to a team mate)
- Shoot from distance and score (Shot like a thunderbolt, should take more/get involved with more set pieces)
- Lead the team (Literally drags the team up to his standards, leading by example)
and
- Do it when it matters (A big game player if ever we've seen one)

Hasn't been here long enough to go down as a Jack legend but I personally have no doubt that he was the best centre-forward to ever play up top for Swansea City, we might not see his like again. Was fortunate enough to meet him personally and tell him so.
