Coloccini, their captain and highest paid player has said today he wants to leave, in order to go back to Argentina. Surely this must cause some unrest on the eve of an important league fixture for them - and us! So we've now benefited from one match suspensions for Fellaini, Mulumbu and Shola Ameobi...and now this! i'm a big fan of coloccini and it would be a huge loss to them. he's an inspirational player and leader. not sure whether it would affect him playing tomorrow or not - he just wants to leave during the window and he strikes me as the kind of guy who wouldn't let this affect his performances on the pitch - but this could be the sort of loss (along with demba ba) which sees them in big trouble this season.
