The rainy conditions didn't help our game, but we ground it out and came out on top. Thing is, we're back to scoring only 1, sometimes 2 goals a game, some flair has disappeared since beginning of season, and I don't think it's cos we have players out injured. On paper we should've beat Bolton by 2 or 3 goals. Despite the conditions, a lot of our passes were fairly good, but some passes, little touches and back heels weren't coming off, however, what we have learnt is to play the game for 90+ minutes, and not 80. I think it's fair to say Baker isn't a replacement for Saiz, even though he tried he's not a natural like Saiz. Personally, I think Adryan would thrive under Bielsa, Adryan and Saiz are closely similar type players. Bielsa brought Roof off and put Banford on, good move but everyone could see Roof was having an off day at the office. Alioski passed to Clark who took the ball forward from our box to the opposition box, an inside pass to Klich saw Klich pass to Pablo, Pablo nutmegged a defender to give Bamford his first time shot and put us 1-0 up. Was a deserved goal, but we should've had more. Last good performance we put in was against Sheff U, fast paced from start to finish, and we showed we could hack it, and keep it up for 90+ mins. Rumour has it Man City are eyeing up Jack Clark. Clark has raw talent and determination, and I think he's going to be a bit of a star, at moment I don't think he can handle a full 90 min game though. Shackleton put in another good performance, but we need to watch for burn out. A well fought, and ground out game put us back on top thanks to Bristol City's draw with Norwich.
