The ****s nicked my scarf when i was 11. I had a special badge on my scarf which me ma had sewn on. It had been sent from my brother who had emigrated to Aussie a few weeks earlier. Piggy ****ing ****s give the twats 100 points deduction.
Never had an issue with Bolton fans. One of my good mates was a season ticket holder and I used to go to watch them play when I lived in the North West and couldn’t get back to watch City.
I went to Bolton a few seasons ago. Walked into one of their boozers on my jack. Announced at the bar I was City, got a pint & drank it whilst holding civil conversations with many Bolton supporters. I don’t do scarves.
I got followed by four of them going to match along Anlaby Road in 1969. I would have been 14 at the time. They made conversation about the game. One looked at my scarf and said, "I've got one of them at home. We use it for bog paper." I was very scared as they just walked alongside me. I went into a sweet shop somewhere near the mirror shop in the hope that they'd carry on walking. I didn't buy anything and they didn't walk. They were waiting for me when I came out. They walked all the way to the ground with me and then just went in leaving me alone. I felt I'd been very lucky but I may have misjudged them. We won 4-2 that day. I went to Bolton in 1976. No problems at all that day. https://www.bing.com/videos/search?...4807230EC16620C10A354807230EC16620C&FORM=VIRE Not all the goals are on the link. Watch Chilton's movement for the first one.
Martyn Ziegler @martynziegler More financial woes at Bolton - replica kit supplier arrived at club store today to remove 46 boxes of merchandise. No comment from Bolton when I asked about it.
