It's a wonder they've got any players left! Clearly the administrators are wrestling with some major issues to get the club back on a firm financial footing. Fingers crossed it all gets resolved in the coming days
I think it is the hotel that is causing the hold up. Preferred bidders have been chosen for the club and I think pretty much everything in place but the hotel is run by different administrators and is taking longer to tie up.
They haven't really, eleven players have already left (ten just walked away) and nobody's come in, they currently have seven first team players, of which two are keepers and none are defenders.
Not looking good for them. https://www.skysports.com/football/...FpAsgan5n3tZljRfu9enFkcQijmTE0VGRygBDzXXm8Acw
Damned tragedy. Heroes like Nat Lofthouse and Eddie Hopkinson must be turning in their graves. First televised cup final I saw was BW vs Man Utd in '58. Played just after the devastation of the Munich air disaster. Very sad indeed.
As I said, games gone soft. "Packy" McParland did nowt wrong here. The ref thought the same. '57 final. There was some choice(fair) tackles in the '58 World Cup final in '58 too. Edit: There's an ex-City player in this game. Anyone name him ?
Just realized, the first FAC final I ever saw televised was the '56 edition. Another ex-City player in this match also. Much easier than my last post's question. Bert Trautmann broke his neck in this game TWS is a clue !
The 1957 Final was the first one I watched. Felt sorry for Man Utd. Feelings which have diminished as the years go by.
Double gold Edit: I slipped through his scouting web. His wife was a teacher at my primary/junior school in Hessle and DR used to pick her up after work. He often stayed watching us kick the ball around while he waited for his missus to sign out. My talent was latent, obviously.
I was seeing £376 per day and thought, that's not unreasonable. Then I read it again, its £376 per HOUR. Jeepers.
I have been informed there is an ex Hull City Boys player in this match. Hull City made great efforts to sign him but he moved on.
