Who said Premiership football was expensive?? No excuses now lads as there are 5000 tickets available.
damn why did i just go to new zealand and double damn why am i going to bali in 2 weeks. how do i get from london to bolton, brain is ticking over, does the dog really have to go to the dentist - yes ($500), do i really have to go to bali (yes, broinlaw 50th, paid for), hmmmmmmmmmmmm a dilemma, fk it, my nz trip would have paid my airfare and accn to uk, and dai wonders y i want to buy a season ticket so i can just pop over when i can afford it. btw any clues on getting a season ticket (i would loan it to ppl most of the time, however i can do that)
cheap tickets is ok if you go on the coaches so if you can go and are prepared for a long journey there and back then its worth it, i always use to take a pilliow with me on long journeys. i rarely go by coach now as i try to make a few days of it and im afraid bolton dont appeal to me as somewhere to take my family, it could be very nice there but i like places where we can have a family couple of days out as well as the football.....
So that's the pleasure beach, funfair, donkey rides etc ruled out then. So too by the looks of it Manchester which is close by and probably Liverpool. As for me I don't look at what else is about I just go to watch the Swans.
i make it a fun week-end for the whole family and not just for me, give me the south anyday of the week, those kiss me quick hats are a turn off..
i do agree with dai that for a weekend match it would be good to make a weekend of it, remember going to blackpool as a kid - they still have rock? never been to bolton but it doesnt appeal as a tourist destination. however it seems dai and myself are getting old are have grandkids etc (not that i would for them to go). manchester isnt that where coronation st is supposed to be? hmmmmmmmmmm sounds dodgy, ken barlow and ena sharples and the gang might still be there.
