Just watched Usain Bolt get disqualified in the 100 metres final. He could have gone out of the blocks 1/2 a second after everybody and won. He came out 1/2 a second before, wonder how much the bookies made? Makes you wonder!
I don't like the change in ruling that does not give you one chance before you are disqualified for a false start
Two other British athletes were disqualified for the same reason - Christine Ohuruogo and Dwain Chambers. But Mo Farah ran a great race in the 10k and just got pipped for the gold.
i didnt like it at first but i like it now. they used to take far too long before the rule change. 2 or 3 false starts every race.
Were it not for the arbitrary qualification criteria that prevented me from taking part, I would have beaten Bolt today.
Seems to be a few false starts..crowd making too much noise? Typical 2 had to be from 2 Brits ofcourse although Mo Farah is a good bet for a medal next year
Bolt Beaten is the title of this thread, but when I read it I discover that no one but himself beat him. This new wine is very good.
