Newcastle fans donated a magnificent £20,000 to food banks at the weekend rather than pay out extra money to watch their team on TV. Saints’ next PPV game is the Villa match on 1st November. I humbly suggest that we all do the same and donate to a free food service in Southampton, via: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/saynotoppv The Premier League and the TV companies are awash with cash. There is a big question mark over how much, if any, of the £14.95 goes to the clubs, but even they are far less in need of help than those who rely on City Catering to help their families get enough to eat.
£200,000! Steady on. I'm all for giving the Geordies credit for this but multiplying their total by 10 is a bit extreme!
Half of that would be a brilliant amount. And would only need 660 odd to donate so well achievable. Somebody needs to set up a giving page of some description.

I can't seem top find them as a charity on the Justgiviong site at the moment - anyone with any experience of this?
Must be other sites that offer the same thing where you can nominate the recipient? Either that or we trust someone with thousands of our hard earned
There’s this one: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/citycatering I think it’s more about providing free meals than food banks but same sort of idea.
Not gonna work having a funding page then though. I reckon either stick up 4/5 options as a poll or just stick with original n not overcomplicate.
Oh right, I see what you mean. Well the original idea was for food banks so go for that one I say. If people would rather go for the other one they can do that separately.
I was thinking we could ask Ben Stanfield to give us a shout on the Total Saints Podcast, as well as Twitter and Facebook. Maybe try the Athletic too?
