our defence looks stronger now rb woodards smith lb paterson brown cb virgo parkes kenneth bolger and paterson and woodards can play here too when needed. once woodards is back and kenneth gets fit and virgo goes we will have one of the strongest defences in the league. good seeing both rb's and both lb's are good going forward. i can see the 352 formation having wing backs used a lot now! thoughts on our defence?
Well CJS, our defence is still clearly ****. They don't get enough protection from midfield - I watched that 3rd Morecombe goal last night and the bloke just waltzed through our midfield and defence. Despite that, I'm more worried about our attack. Lots of possession - no goals. Not good enough.
wwll what a fooking embarrassment this thread turned out to be. however i did say 'once we got rid of virgo' which seemed justified after yesterdays game.
Bolger should come straight in for Virgo. He needs a break perhaps after his injury. If that's the best he can offer us otherwise, then he is clearly not good enough for league football anymore.
