Bolger has returned to Leicester and Lund back to Stoke as their loans have now expired. Ward wants them both to return and will be working on this today but its now out of his hands but is hopeful that they will be back and be back in time for Saturdays game.

Ward has confirmed a target-man is a priority due to the loss of Eaves who returned to Bolton. However Ward admitted his priorities may change if he is unable to extend the loans of Lund and Bolger.

    Thoughts??

the other day stoke seemed happy for lund to return. they basically let ward decide if he wants lund or not so i guess this one is easy. but bolger may be tough!

For me Bolger is a must not just for now but as along term pairing with Parkes, Lund Im not so worried about, think we could do better in the midfield position, for me he was more effective at right back for us.

Neither are good enough for the Premiership or Championship and don't stand a chance of playing in the first team so we should try and sign them permanently.

We need both of them back IMO. Both had a good game against Plymouth and both look good for the future so keep em on I say

Bolger is an excellent pairing with Parkes they understand each other,he fits in nicely.

if Leicester are up for it and wish him to play regular football and we are willing to pay we should sign on a perm deal if not a loan til season end with an option to buy is the way forward our back four should continue to build an understanding and will be a tight unit come next season.

As for Lund he is a player who already knows the club sounds as if its up to Ward perhaps he has another tough tackler similar to O'Toole in mind.

Either way we need at least to secure Bolgers services or we are left with just Kenneth and Virgo.

A target man is also a must as Tom is only a short term solution.

did you go on Saturday as a birthday treat ;)

Bolger could now be going to a higher placed team if I was his parent club. He will only gain experiance if he went to the next division up. Not Wumming just entering the debate <ok>

ROD, he gets more experience being under the cosh as it were, rather than playing for a team who are better ;)
