Looks destined to leave Barca after being offended when he was offered in part exchange for Alexis Sanchez. He's young and class, could offer him wages to rival most others because no one's going to offer a ridiculous amount at this stage of his career... I doubt we could but I'd love to see us make a move and show some intent.
Can't believe you lads managed to bring Gervinho. Dead jelous. Kept under the radar of the mainstream media well until the last moment. Newcastle could really push on if you keep going about your business this way.
We do not have Gervinho yet and I suspect he won't join us anyway. Bojan is a good shout but if he became available, Arsenal or Man Yoo would probably try and snap him up. He and Gyan would be a good combo but I'd love him up here partnering the lesser known Best......
I thought this the other day when I was playing fifa. I'd love it, and it's worth a go, especially if nobody else is bidding. Extremely unlikely he'd ever come, I bet he's barely ever heard of us, but I don't see the harm in trying! If we don't I'd love to see somebody go in for the lad and give him first team football every week. It's not his fault he can't get into the Barca team! Any forward bar Maradona and Pele would struggle to get into their team. He's got the potential to be a world-beater but needs games to develop.

How many starts though? He's had to play supersub, from what I remember he first got near the first team around the Ronaldinho Eto'o days, then Ibra got the starts, then Villa, and Pedro starts every game... He deserves to be starting week in, week out! But you're right he'd definitely get interest from bigger boys than either of us up here in the NE..
