Bobbie Reid has signed a contract up to 2015, hopefully if we are signing him for that length of time it won't be long till we see him playing in the first team <ok>

    Get him in now..

Let him play a no 10 role behind a striker / strikers the boy can pick a pass and unlock a defence. Tell Elliot has to play DM and has to sit. (**** him!)

DMc would now be absolutely crazy not to give Bobbie Reid his first team chance.
At the same time get Joe Edwards back from Yeovil and along with Joe Bryan and Aaron Amadi-Holloway, put all of them on the bench.
If they ahve the right spirit for City and to make it as pro's, they will all bust a gut for the club if and when they get on!
What do we have to lose?

I would much rather see Reid in the team now.
Saw him play for City and the lad looked full of promise and selecting him Sunday would give the crowd a huge lift.
And don't we need it !

Anyway, what other options do we have ?

Del - don't you dare mention Jody ****** Morris. WTF were you thinking about signing him!

Red, i think your so right about Morris, what a waste of money, i'm all for giving the youngsters a chance, and nows the time to do it, like you said, what have we to lose.

Reid needs to be in the team now, and ideally until the end of the season.

The guy is hungry for games and after YEARS we've not had a creative midfield type since old man Hartley. It's clear that some of the current crop just aren't pulling their weight and if they won't be motivated by Millen or McInnes then they need to go; it's as simple as that. Reid wants a game, and he should be given games. If it doesn't work out then we'll be no worse off than we currently are...

Not on the bench cider, IN THE TEAM - we've lost 6 on the trot so they couldn't do any worse and would give us the energy and fear free factor of youth...

Yes you're right Prem. But unfortunately managers don't think like us when the team is deep in the brown stuff.
They think that experience is needed to get out of it.
Or as Hansen said "You don't win trophies with kids" But didn't Man U prove him wrong in the early nineties with Becks, Giggs, Scholes, two Nevilles?
I sincerely believe that if a teenager is good enough then he should be played. At Ashton Gate over the years Jantzen, Shadow Williams, Gerry Gow, Geoff Merrick (captain at 19!), Tom Ritchie, Trevor Tainton, Matt Hill among many others all made it as good pros with very young debuts.
It's a bit like the old adage; One hour in bed before midnight is worth two after 6 am. And similarly all games played before age 20 are worth a lot more than those after 20.
Bobbie Reid is only ONE year younger than John Atyeo when he first played for City.
And at present I would have Bobbie Reid, James Wilson, Joe Bryan, Joe Edwards and possibly Aaron Amadi-Holloway in the side NOW.
But on our part that is wishful thinking to have such a young side, so maybe one at a time with the rest on the bench. Gently gently catchee monkey.

Funny how we are going along with Reid should be in the team now, when no one has noticed that a 3 year contract for a player not in the first team squad is showing us that Del see's these kids as our future.
