RIP Bob Wilson. Another City goalie bites the dust. Just weeks after Fred Davies passed away. Bob will always be associated with that last minute error against Hamburg, but it’s often forgotten that on his day he was a brilliant keeper. RIP.

Another of our boyhood heroes gone Pete. And you're right about the Hamburg game though I think he was soon forgiven. Afterall, his outstanding performances between the sticks were largely responsible for us getting to the semis. RIP Bob and thanks for all the wonderful memories.
Unfortunately the first City game I attended was the Hamburg one. Apart from the result a great night and atmosphere on the Grange End.
It's a pity that Bob is mainly remembered for that one error when he put in so many great performances for City.
