Will Bob get a new contract in January? Or will Roland let his contract run down and then make a decision, like he did with Jose Riga?
I'd say keep him regardless, players need stability with managers he's done enough for me to get a new one
Same here Super. I think he's (& his staff) done a tremendous job of galvanising the squad, making us hard to beat and well organised. Thus ensuring we give nothing away cheaply and no longer roll over and have our bellies tickled when the going gets tough. These are all qualities that were sorely lacking before he took control. With a couple of quality additions (fingers crossed) I see absolutely no reason whatsoever why we can't kick on.
I've really enjoyed watching us at times this season - more so than I have done in maybe 10 years. We aren't the finished article yet, but a few more players and I can see an exciting future. It's just a shame we can't get more bums on seats.
Bob has the respect of the players and the fans, but so did Jose Riga, and fat lot of good it did him. It just makes sense to give Bob at least a year's extension in January, but will Roland see it that way?
Happy to give him another year, would be good to see how RD backs him in the Jan window, with RD does not dig deep, would that be a show as he is not expecing BP to stay ?
