OK guys (and gals) - thanks for the best wishes on the mod thing - I'll give it a shot and we'll see where it goes.

Sheepy and Taff have the experience - they've both been brilliant IMO - and I'm going to TRY to sit back and watch until Taff leaves the position in the New Year. Good luck Taff - you've sure taken some flak in the role and kept your cool (most of the time anyway :emoticon-0105-wink:).

I intend to post as normal (usual **** according to some <laugh>) and not let the role spoil my enjoyment of the forum. Being as "invisible" as possible doing the job is always what I've blabbed on about in the past to be the best route. That doesn't mean taking the easy option and ignoring anything that disrupts the forum as a great place for a chat - football or otherwise.

If we can keep the decent football discussion threads as just that (but not devoid of some humour), and the other stuff confined to threads that ask for it, I'll be happy to take a back seat.

I will however take a dim view of anyone that deliberately attempts to derail the football threads with either continous one line quips designed to provoke a reaction, or confrontational posts wrapped up in what appears to "football stuff", but really set out for the same reason. Opinions as to what that might constitute may vary, but I've got my own ideas, and I'm sure you'll let me know yours.

Stealth wumming from visitors will be allowed, but only if they have a certificate from my academy - unqualified stealthing will be deemed a breach of board rules. <laugh>

Now bloody well get on with it and enjoy it - there's a game tomorrow, and don't bother me with crap complaints if we lose, cos sure as eggs, there won't be any if we win!!!! <ok>

As the Bombardier advert says, "Bang on" Sparks. I think your's will be an interesting reign. I can't wait to see who will be first to "test the water".

How does one get a certificate from your academy of stealth wumming? Are there entrance exams and interviews? Any pre-qualifications needed? Are any existing wummers automatically qualified on the strength of their previous wumability?

I think thats pretty clear and anyone with an agenda will now know the consequences.
I have just added this additional sentence so as to avoid it being a "oneliner" <ok>

Wasn't that qualification achieved in Swansea though Taff? I'm sure Sparks new rule won't accept that <whistle>

Now look you lot - stealth wumming is a very fine art and you need considerable training. I've filled the classes for this season, so unfortunately there are no vacancies. I'll announce next years enrolement dates if I get sufficient passes from this current scabby lot I've got here right now.....Aber!!......put that bloody joint out and listen when I'm speaking!!..........<laugh>

First you have to accept that if you're stealth wumming and you get sussed, either you're not very good at it, or the code breaker reading between the lines trying to find something that isn't there, has to imagine it, and ends up talking through his arsehole.

Now that's pretty uncommon and confined to devout code breakers down there who long for the return of Bletchley Park and seek solace in encryption busting on the forums.

There are more bloody "Enigmas" (both machines and men) in Jackland tuned into this club than the Third Reich managed to muster......<laugh>

"There are more bloody "Enigmas" in Jackland..."

As distinct from all the "bloody" "Enema's" here in "bloobland",or as they say in Canton, with friends like john hugh's,who needs enema's!!!

Good luck in your new role,Sparkey.

    That is so unfair.

I don't think any Bluebirds were aware of the stealth academy. When we enquire about joining we are told all the places are full.

Full of who? Who managed to get in there before us?

There have been very few Wurzels on here this season so has Sparkey been running a course for disgruntled (how do you get gruntled by the way?) Robins without our knowledge to help prepare then for their eventual return to the Championship? I can see there being a lot of refresher courses before that happens or hell freezes over.

Sorry CCR if you're reading. I'm sure you already graduated with honours.

Or has Sparks been making a nice little earner in educating Jacks with a thirst for learning?

Thank you VETCH for the best wishes - that reference to "enemas" brought back a lot of memories of dear old Clingo - the man was apparently a martyr to them.

I remember his major problem was that the nurse that administered them over there in Gloucester was a Wurzel supporter - <yikes> I bet that stung a bit every time.

Nin - thanks for the vote of confidence. I'll probably need more support on here than just a truss though - the responsibility is getting to me and it hasn't started yet.........<laugh>

BfB...I think you get gruntled by starting to follow the Robins and then the dis- bit comes later after a few games. Then it's followed by diss from all other club supporters. but by that time, you are locked in and there's no answer.

Said it before and I'll say it again.....Oh the irony <laugh> The master of doing just that on our board lays down the rules.

Good luck with the post Sparkley - just don't go banning posters for nothing. Sadly it has happened here. <ok>
