Just got back from the match. Basically it was the youth team plus the experianced midfield of Any Hessenthaler (as the programme called him) and Nicky Southall. Not a bad game, I was quite impressed with Bly. Only worry is that none of the youth team really stood out as I was expecting against this sort of opposition. Best moment of the match by far was the two footed lunge by the boss mid way through the 2nd half which in a normal competative match would have resulted in a straight red. Luckily he got away with a yellow (is he gonna fine himself?? ) although he continued to argue with the officials right up until he subbed himself about 20 mins from time. So ends the longest pre season fixture list I can remember. Roll on Saturday. UTG

To be honest I would have been really disapointed if Hessy hadn't crocked somebody! On a serious note I'm glad trigger made it through 90 minutes, I know it was only a pre-season but if he is regestered as a player I want him to actually be fit to play!
