No Frank live in Cottingham. My point was that the "authorities" do not deem us capable of getting from A to B on our own. They've done it to us before at the KC. I was trying to point out that people will just go out elsewhere thus negating the H&S issue by going out anyway.
I walked to shops today, unaided, despite the clear H&S risks. I've got a cold as well, and the paths near the flat are white with frost. I chose to wear my running trainers, as they have a superior grip. Basically, I socked it to the man.
I agree Gambler. Matches get postponed because the pavements are slippery. What happens in the breaks at school now? It used to be the best time when there was ice on the surface of the playground. Now I suppose it's an indoor break.
It's more likely to be icy steps and walkways within the stadium that are of concern. H&S is now an industry in itself and employs thousands of people in this country. The more of these ludicrous rules they instigate means the continued growth and prosperity of said industry and those employers and employees within. And we all pay for it indirectly.
