blue soldier will be back for saturday so the terrace is gonna be noisy, with around 2 thousand away fans should be a good atmosphere lets hope the team rises to the occasion.(and waddock picks the right team)
A buzzing Adams park hosting a famous club, wouldn't it be a great occasion for kadeem to be handed his first league start. We can only wish.
I spoke to Blue Soldier last night. I have a feling Saturday could be a little bit messy as he hasn't had a beer for over 5 months!
Agreed you need, or at least could do with, something from this game but I do not see it happening. Sheff Utd are going to be top 2 or 3 come the end of the season. Simply too strong for most and with Ched Evans up front are going to create lots of problems for just about every other team in L1. Sorry to be negative guys, I have a realistic outlook on football these days
It depends which Sheff Utd turn up; they aren't too consistent. If the Sheff Utd that beat Colchester and Bury turn up we'll be in for a hammering with at least 3 goals being conceded. However, their away form isn't that brilliant so a top performance from the blues could scrape us a point. I would happily settle for a point against them. Hopefully the ref won't spoil the game.
I never suggested I am always right Rocky, indeed normally the opposite For you guys I hope I am wrong
a result is always possible: however, its unlikely. If we play like we did against brentford, providing thier keepers not as stunning. we are capable of getting a result. however, if we play like tranmere, then not a chance
its time for kadeem to get a start on the wing and put grant up front, the other problem position for me is left back sandell has looked poor so far this season and needs replacing either by one of our players or get a left back in on loan.
the name being mentioned as a sandell replacement is foster, which i personally would be fine with as foster looked strong there for most of last season and it would get mccoy a start
I've picked my team. Do you think the ref will notice? --------------------------------------Bull --------McCoy-------------------------------------------------Foster Betsy------------------------------Winfield--------------------------------Tunnicliffe --------------Lewis---------------------------------------Donnelly Ibi-------------- Grant---------------Rendell---------------Benyon-----------Harris
Has no-one noticed how many times foster has been skinned by wingers recently? Sandell is much better, he can keep up and put in a good tackle, while his distribution to the midfield is top notch.
Trust me. I know what I'm doing. I manage Arsenal in the Funny League. The only reason we are having a poor spell is because I'm forced to stick to 11 players.
