Exactly Jose. Always worrying when their lack of fitness is a ready made excuse for not performing well in their first month; and it is only a month deal. I just hope that Gaz has seen that he is fit enough to play well at this level, if only for half a game.
It does seem a little odd that Gaz's gone for a midfielder, especially on such a short deal. You'd think with the people he has at his disposal at the moment he wouldn't need another. Even if Billy is suddenly recalled theres still a fairly good bunch to choose from. I know its probably more to do with timing but it does make me wonder.
Very weird to me, I can't see any logic in this move. I hope I am wrong but a journey man injured 30 year old seems an odd choice. Quoting arsenal is another odd thing as he didn't make an appearance.
