The government is to pay compensation to the families of those killed and wounded on Bloody Sunday. Is this the right thing to do ? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-15009999
I wouldn`t have thought JSA was taxable Do the agrieved really need compensation, after all it was a long time ago?
the killings may havebeen a long time ago, but justice for the families has only been quite recent. the families have had to fight for a long long time to clear their dead's names.
not a good time for th mod Irish, kenyan, iraqi all with genuine cases of abuse by the british army thug killers when it comes down to it
They havent receuved justice at all, merely a concession that their loved ones were not guilty of the offencea laid at their door by the widgery tribunal.
If I was a betting man, I would bet that this thread will go on for about 15 pages or so, then Mick will come in and say it is going nowhere and close it. Then somebody else will start another thread which is the exact same and it will happen again and again. Mick, give them an Irish politics board. For the record, I reckon they deserve **** all, the investigation was flawed.
