REALLY REALLY doing my nut in; the SECOND time this season that TERRIBLE refereeing decisions have taken goals away from our team this season where points are EVERYTHING for us to stay up. This is a MUST WIN game.
It wasn't the referee's fault, it was the linesman. Linesman's name is Bob Pollock. Atkinson has had a solid game thus far IMO.
I'd say better defending and 1-0 up at half time. Fingers crossed for a 1-2 final result - we have the talent & ability in the team to make this happen.
I know it was the linesmen, but they are all paid to make the correct decision, not cock up like they all do! 1. The ref has the ultimate power 2. The linesman is also part of the refereeing unit, therefore, it was a poor refereeing decision.
In the end, Both Bolton's goals were fair, you had one which offside and didn't get one that was a fair goal, so 2 - 1 Bolton was a fair score and you haven't been hard done by from the referee and his crew. Enjoy your day!
‎No, there was no problem with either Bolton goal, except the fouls leading up to the second 1. Hill's header 2. Cisse's goal; no, I'm not being biased about this, another poor decision 3. Poor tackle from behind, 2 footed, by Pratley on Derry should have been a red card 4. Onouha got the ball vs. Petrov, no yellow 5. Handball in the box which should have been a penalty 6. Foul on Onouha in the box should have been a penalty immediately afterward 7. After the two offences above, Klasnic goes on to score against QPR S**t referees.
Ok,we had a few dodgy decisions, but so did Bolton and its way too late in the season to look for 'what ifs' and 'if only we had got that'. We are where we are because we havnt won enough games over the whole season..end of.
Words of wisdom, the first ive read on here today. Through the season all clubs can point bad days with the refs, but ultimately is about the whole season, and come May the table never lies !
Unnecessary wum. The crowd would have been all over them had they gone 1 down. Our defending for both goals was poor but we'd have gone on to win the game had Hill's goal been allowed. Not unlike being mugged by everyone's favourite family club when Johnson decided he'd been headbutted. We're a mix of not very good and not very lucky. When we play **** we lose, when we play reasonably well we don't get the rub of the green and generally still lose. We probably will go down now but it won't be down to today's result.
Difference is that we can point to a number of decisions that have been absolute game changers. Yes Bolton got some today as well but had we been 1 up massively different game. Penalty at the end = 2 points less for them and one more for us etc
