    The Mail On Sunday is reporting that Chelsea are making a shock bid for Walnut.

    Sure, Chelsea don't play with wingers, but we all know that the Daily Mail never lies.

    At this rate, Arsenal won't have any players left, come the start of the season.

    That would be the first time that has ever happened, as far as I am aware.

    Chirpy, I may be speaking with an ironic glint in my eye.

    I am inclined to agree with you. In the last 24 hours, we've had rumours that Ashavin, RvP and now Walnut might all be leaving, as well as those that have been "confirmed."

    I would be lying, however, if I did not admit that I find it hilarious that the Gooners seem to have been victimised by the press, who, if they are to be believed, are predicting that Fabreaga, Nasri, Clichy, Bentner, Denilson, Arshavin, Walnut and RvP will all be leaving the club in the Summer. By contrast, we've only been told by the same press that Modric is leaving.

    Utterly hilarious!

    Well they did nothing with their present squad so an overhaul is needed. Arshavin flopped so I'm glad we didn't buy him although Ramos wanted him.

    I agree with what you say.

    All the Gooners I know fall into one of two camps over the current "crisis" in their team. Either they are on the point of suicide, decrying that they will end up as a mid-table side for the next ten years, or they are philosophical about it all, and are looking to get rid of any player who doesn't want to wear the Gooner shirt so that Whinger can use the money to build the squad.

    As I said before, utterly hilarious!

    You can now get an idea of one main reason why we don't want Modric to leave. As with Fabregas, it could well be the catalyst for more departures.

    White Hot,I don't know any gooners and I prefer to keep it that way. It will be a huge test of their character if they fall down a bit how they take it. Will they be stoic or will they whinge. All we have to do is get a top 4 slot and our players will stay.
