Anyone ever had this? Had it for over a couple of months now, bloody irritating as hell. Eye totall swelled up and went first red and then black and blue. Irritation of the eyelid which makes it dry and gitty due to a lack of lubricaion (no, no) from the tear ducts. I was thinking of seeking some advice from the little englander footballers as they are like christmas cards, always greeting. A flock of seagulls...................
If you have not got anything sensible to say then don't bother. This is an intellectual discussion forum.
Wash your eyelids with a solution of Johnshons baby shampoo and water - roughly six parts water to shampoo - with cotton wool. I had this years ago and the eye infirmary had pamphlets advising that this is the right course of action. It worked for me.
Nae bother. It won't disappear overnight but definately works. Apparently we have wee glands along our eyelids which get blocked with miniscule bits of skin and other **** and this causes the irritation. The shampoo mixture helps to clear them out. I think the recommended ratio is about ten to one water to shampoo but I think I used to make it a wee bit stronger.
Do you put the shampoo solution into the eyeball. Doc gave me ointment which you spread along the bottom of the eyeball after pulling the lower lid down.
I bet you were a first class pupil at Uni. Believe it or not there is an Optician in Aberdeen called I Strane.
I love those, profession type name things. When I used to live in Lincoln, there was two Brothers who owned a Funeral Directors and there surname was Box, they called their buisness Box Brothers
