That is a very presumptious article. Just because Lambert played a certain way with players at Norwich doesn't mean he will with Villa. He will play to their strengths. The 'Villa will concede fewer goals' line was just brilliant though.
I think presumptious is exactly the right word the Target Man part of it is probably true though, he does seem to have a big bastard striker fetish. Having read it, I can actually see what they mean by 'Villa will concede less goals'. I think we all know that we weren't exactly leakproof last season, but who is to say that playing like Villa, we wouldn't have conceded many more? I think the basic idea was solid, and when we had an established defensive partnership for more than about 30 minutes, we did start to tighten up.
... Sorry I have an irrational hatred of the incorrect use of less and fewer. I'll let you off as you're new. But I will also add that that is the only grammar I am fussed with. Make all the errors you want otherwise!
