How can Blatter be guilty though? Didn't Putin say Blather was a man of great morality who should win the noble peace prize?

How then can he be guilty of Putin endorses him?

Must be fake trumped up charges.

And the guy would still be sitting pretty had he just accepted the bribes from England and the US instead of Russia and Qatar.

I agree. Plus he has an anti-England bent so I have selfish reasons for wanting him gone too.

Platini's candidacy was already tarnished by his support for Qatar’s bid for the World Cup in 2022.

"He insists that his vote was “for the good of football” yet there has never been a denial from him that in November 2010, 10 days before Qatar was chosen, he attended a lunch at the Elysée Palace with Qatar’s Prime Minister, its Crown Prince and Nicolas Sarkozy, then President of France. It was the following year that Qatar Sports Investments, a state-owned firm, bought Paris Saint-Germain, Sarkozy’s favoured team, and that Platini’s son became the boss of Burrda, a Qatari-owned sports-kit company."

OK Sure nothing to see here folks move along

So if Prince Ali wins the presidency instead is that good or bad? I imagine Jasmine and the genie would be opposed.

The only difference between Blatter and Platini is that Platini was one of the greatest players to ever grace the game, otherwise Platini is just the young pretender to Blatter's Napoleon from Animal Farm.

I was listening to Talksport the other day and somebody made a good point that the Swiss should have taken responsibility a lot early than after having the Americans got involved.

    I completely agree.

    Better late than never though.

They've sat on Nazi gold and Mafia money for over 70 years. This is small potatoes, comparitively for them.

true, but what's the alternative? Not ****ing Platini anymore. Our FA, as bent as any, backed the wrong crook on that one. Whatever the long-term solution, an Anglo-American presence/influence isn't part of it. The likes of Dyke are just crooks who haven't had the opportunity yet to do what Blatter and his cronies have done.

Disband FIFA and cancel the next two world cups, I say. Never trust the Swiss to run anything again.
