Is this old prick for real,Racism is Racism ANYWHERE and for him to say," Football does not have a problem with racism on the field, and any incidents should be settled by a handshake", is frankly an insult..

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15757165.stm

Tell Stephen Lawrence's mum and dad that, Blatter should be sacked and re-educated,he's a bloody insult to all of us...

Doesn't surprise me in the slightest, the bloke is a ****ing asshole.

Lets hope the backlash from this is worldwide and makes his position untenable, unfortunately all of the brown paper envelopes flying around amongst FIFA, and with the African nations 'leaders' benefitting from the corruption financially, I expect this to just blow over.

Agree with all the above. Once some people get into positions of power they lose touch with all reality.

Blatter is in it for his own personal glory and certainly not for the benefit of football around the world. His remarks are disgusting and I certainly agree with all other comments on this site and Robbie Savage on BBC.

Those football nations with any sort of decency should get together and tell FIFA to shove their corrupt, money oriented, and racist sport up their overpaid and underworked arses and form a breakaway federation that would make FIFA redundant. Blatter should face a police investigation for appearing to be in favour of racism. Why should the nations and supporters put up with this **** ?

First the joke of Qatar getting a world cup and now this. Mind you, the FA aren't above being criticisied for the ridiculous farce of spending £21m on a World Cup bid that was doomed from the start.........having a member of the Royal Family and the ever publicity hungry David Beckham as part of the bid team was a shocking and stupid decision.

Well he has nearly ticked all the boxes now in the last few years.

First one was his comments about female footballers.

Then in the last year his comment about gay fans going to to the world cup

    And now his racist comment

Just missing some religious offensive comments to tick all the boxes

The trouble is Angelic it will only be our press repoting it and ourselves that are disgusted by it. Our own FA have no balls to pull us out of anything.

Blatter is a <unt, nuf said.

I think the FA and FIFA are a perfect match for each other. Both populated and run by dinosaurs who are totally out of touch with modern life, sport and reality.

Not wildly fond of the PFA either after they rigorously defended Carlos Tevez recently and got Man City to reduce the fine against him for refusing to play and then pissing off back to Argentina without their permission. If clubs were allowed to make a stand against someone witholding their contracted services and make it stick with a meaningful fine of a few million quid, then it would stamp it out in an instant.

Whilst i agree with all the above, someone raised a valid point on Talk Sport this morning.

Blatter is hated by us, but it seems he is not hated by the rest of the world. He has worked wonders for African football which is why there is no serious hatred towards the man from the rest of the world.

Whilst we know its headline news over here, all the papers over in France just had a little paragraph. If the FA did distance themselves away from FIFA, it would be us that loses out. If the rest of the world would follow us, then it may prompt Blatter to quit his post.

Also, Blatter has noone to answer to, he is his own boss and can do or say pretty much what ever he wants.

This latest outrage is not acceptable in any way shape or form and i personally can not stand the man, but it appears, unless the world unite, this man will stay exactly where he is.

After the last World Cup fiasco when the tournaments were awarded to Russia in 2018 and Qatar in 2022 there seemed to be a groundswell of anti FIFA feelings from various football associations such as America and France as well as rumours that a breakaway might be called for. Not sure what happened to all that ?

the prick has now issued a full apology to the BBC,included in the statement he also said any players found guilty of racism on the pitch should be thrown out of the game.

How about thick, igorant, egotistical, racist pricks that run the game..
