Thought we shud have had a pen in first half for push on Quinn. If we would have got it and scored then the flood gates would have opened. Still no excuse for a poor second half performance!!

I thought we had at least three good penalty shouts but all were ignored by the ref. We never made a good chance out of open play though so probably deserved to lose. Still, get that first half penalty and we could have come to life.

All pens were good shouts - had we gone in front we probably would have won the game 1-0 - what is worrying even in a crap FA Cup tie that no one gives a fook about these days is the lack of a genuine goal scorer - without Elmo and Aluko we looked very laboured - need to bring in a forward asap

Looked 3 good shouts to me too. That doesn't excuse our performance though.

I thought the referee had a poor game, that Quinn incident was either a goal kick and booking for diving or a penalty, he didn't have the balls for either so gave a corner.

Also the booking for that foul on Brady was ridiculous, Brady just ran full speed into the guy, there was nothing he could do, they'd have been annoyed if that free kick went in!

Yes we had a blatent pen not given by either the ref or linesman who was right up there but it happens. Macclesfield also had a stone wall penalty not given either. Blind mice comes to mind.

City also missed simple chances and that was the root cause of our cup exit. The game should have been over by half time. City are now out and we move onto far more important matters.

I guess only when the 5th round draw is made later on today will we know what we have missed out on. (ie. Wigan away, Luton away maybe ????, no thanks).
