At my brother's confirmation there were 2 twats making it who looked like the teeny bopper version of Miami Vice. Maybe they looked like that to make absolutely certain that the Bishop wouldn't take a shine to them.
Somewhere there exists a photo of me taken in about 1982, wearing massively baggy pinstripe strides, a dinner jacket purchased from Oxfam, white T- shirt, 2 gallons of hair gel, and a lemon yellow French beret. Also a pair of earings Bet Lynch would have loved. That's just brought back a memory of about half a dozen of us young blokes, sat in a ropy boozer in The Mile End Road, Whitechapel, passing round a big tub of hair gel. Got some great looks from the old geezers coughing roll-up tar into their mild n bitters.
