Blancmange has the better consistency, and is smoother, whilst Rice Pudding is rougher, but can adapt to different situations better. Tricky one. Blancmange is never in the best bowl though, which hinders comparisons.
Blancmange was assisted by the FIP (Federation Internationale Pudding) so it doesn't count. Rice Pudding had to earn it's success.
Rubbish. Have you not seen the comments that crazy old Halibut came out with recently, saying that topping development will always favor Dessert B?
