Is anybody sad to be rid of Holloway? I'm not, I'm glad the greedy ****er got relegated.

Wonder if he'll still get a cut of any transfers now he's back where he belongs??

Agreed. Some on the Villa thread were rooting for them but i for one am glad.

I commend their style of football but Holloway's 'cheeky' rehearsed soundbites really started to grate and the way he slated us in January simply for bidding for one of his players was out of order. Also not sure why Charlie Adam felt the need to start kissing the badge every time he scored when he had made it clear he wanted to leave- "i'm really passionate about this club for the next few months".

I'm glad Holloway has gone down, Blackpool as a club were great but Holloway (who started off as a breath of fresh air) became stale quickly

yeah he did have a right to complain in some situations like the one where he was fined for fielding what was supposedly a 'weak' team against villa i think it was, they lost 3-2 i think
    but he became annoying.

I wanted them to stay up in spite of Holloway. His constant moaning and attempts to make people feel sorry for the club did get annoying.

If he had been a little more positive and believe a bit, then they might of got that extra point or so to keep them up.

It can't be that motivating hearing your boss tell you you're lucky to be where you are, still every chance may go down.

He'll be missed, and his interviews made interesting viewing.I prefer him to the humourless ponces that are currently managing in the premiership,Redknapp,Hughes,Bruce.

Ah, sanity. Nice one, the lads.

I'm fed up of reading the glowing tributes all over the place today. Football's about attack and defence. I see little skill in managing only one discipline. They may have been "entertaining" but if that's the criteria somebody should sign Lady Gaga for their midfield.

If I was a Blackpool fan I think I'd want to see the back of Holloway for blowing the chance to stay up with his egotistical and arrogant stubbornness to temper the attack frenzy with a little bit of realism.

We weren't the only team in for Adam in January but the way Holloway handled that saga was instrumental in the dip that's cost them.

Somebody should put the Holloway soundbites on eBay to see if they can swap them for a player or two.

Yeah the media went to his head big time, even offering his overvalued opinion on the Rooney saga. They did play some good stuff early on but the honeymoon ended and the goals started flowing... into their net.

it was a good thing for football that they made it up, if Blackpool can make it to the premiership then anyone can. Holloway let it all go to his head and thought his opinions were of value. He should have shut the fk up and quietly got on with the job ala Mick with Wolves, I like McCarthy I really do and Wolves have played some really great stuff too this season, they should have been higher but for some late defensive collapses this season like the one at spurs.

Blackpool appear to have missed out on European football because Holloway's remarks cost them Fair Play points.

Blackpool and Fair Play, eh? I remember the duckshoot stall at the Pleasure beach where the tips of the guns were bent.
