A nice trip to Blackpool up next for the travelling Toon Army on Easter Weekend, let's hope the weather is nice!

What's everyone's team selection? I would say play it again lads from last night, but I believe Nolan has to come in. It's harsh on Guthrie, but Nolan will get us goals.

I will take a point right now as it is going to be a bloody hard game. Considering it's NUFC, we will probably lose after a brilliant performance against the Champions to be. A point away from home can't be turned away, and we shouldn't be annoyed if we do draw.

I am on such a high, love seeing my team battle like that in the famous Black & White! Howay The Lads!!

The players must have got a buzz from last nights performance and I think they'll come out wanting to do more of the same.

I'm looking for a win at Blackpool.

Newcastle were excellent last night. Thoroughly professional and committed.

Blackpool have been shipping goals and are in free-fall, confidence shot.

All this points to a Blackpool win.

Great result last but it was the performance that impressed.

Not taking Blackpool game for granted, we have slipped up against the so called smaller teams.

Nolan has to play as you have said he will get us goals.

Same team but replace Guthrie with Nolan. Keep Lovenkrands as Blackpool will typically play with a high line and we need a pacey striker who can possibly expose them in that area.

Definitely think we can win that one!

I must say, after watching the video of us thrashing Manure 5-0, I was well up for the game last night. But, I expected us to play crap... So I was pleasantly surprised when the guys went out there and played the way they did.

Can't wait for the Blackpool game now, but can't help feeling that we'll end up losing after such a great performance tonight.

We have a record equal to Manure for away record (or second best in the league, not sure how it stands now), Blackpool also have an aweful home record and have a leaky defence.
Also heard at Stat in commentry out side of the top 4 we are the highest scoring club :D

Not taking this as an easy win, no doubt Blackpool will go Gung Ho and throw everything forward as they do, so hopefully we can expose them and take advantage.

The Ameobi and Nolan strikeforce is too slow IMO. We need pace(Guti/Loverman/Ranger) to expose Blackpool's offside trap/high-line.

    My personal line up :

    Harper
    Simpson Willo Colo Enrique
    Barton Tiote Guthrie Guti
Nolan(Change to Ireland when he tires out or for Guthrie/Guti).
    Loverman(Change to Ameobi/Ranger if ineffective)

Subs: Krul, Saylor, Raylor, Ferguson, Ireland, Ranger, Ameobi.

After seeing flashes of Ireland last night, thought he did alright be worth playing him at some point during the game.

Would have been class if his turn and shoot shot had gone in, what a way to start his time in the team off

Don't think so, Pardew said he's not ready yet and might feature in the last 3 games of the season.

Think they've got him penciled in for early may, from what I heard on the legends they are looking to play him in the last 3 games of the season. But only expect them to be as a sub.

Probably a bit too early, maybe he'll be ready for the Birmingham game?

This but with Lovenkrands or a corpse of some sort instead of Ameobi as it would make more impact.

    Krul
    Simmo-Willo-Colo-Enrique
    Barton-Tiote-Guthrie-Jonas
    -Nolan-
    -Lovenkrands-

I douibt Shola can handle a second game in 5 days, and don't think Guthrie should be dropped, would just have to see how Loven does up front on his own.
