A trip up to the Seaside where we play a Blackpool side that is in total disarray and stranded at the bottom of the Championship after a horrific run of results. I was at Bloomfield Road last year to witness the mighty Blues record their first Away win of the season with a thrilling 3-2 win with an injury time winner sealing all 3 points for Town. New Blackpool manager Lee Clark will be in the dug out for the home side tomorrow so we shall see if the honeymoon period gets off to a good start. My Prediction: Blackpool 0 - 5 Town Only for us to concede a 5th goal in the last minute of injury time to draw 5-5
34% will be, 32% will be by headers, 45% will be open play, 12% will be left foot. But only 12% will be from anti football rubbish! happy days!
To be honest he completely changed the game for us last season when he came on! His best performance in a Town shirt albeit a second half cameo!
Blackpool 0-2 Ipswich (McGoldrick, Berra). My head says a 1-1 draw with the Seasiders equalising in the last couple of minutes though.
Two one to the Tangerines under new management. The league is starting to separate out with the larger and better squads going to the top and the threadbare squads and hoofballers going south.
Hmmm... interesting and maybe valid point there. We shall see. Good win last night for you to get back on track... we need same today, and up we climb again! It is much to do with confidence as we all know. And we head for sunny Bournemouth soon!
4-2-Town We'll go 2 up, let two in and the fans will start to panic. We'll then do the opposite of what we have been doing and go for it and score two in the final fifteen minutes.
Billy gets his chance today in goal, Gerken injured himself during the warm up. I hope he's not targeted because we have no sub keeper on the bench now. Ambrose takes up the empty seat in the dugout now.
Great result but what an atrocious game of football, we did a job but Blackpool were terrible, seems like it's been back to basics with Mick going back into his comfort zone. We'll take what could've been a difficult game but it wasn't a good performance, it's an entertainment business and that certainly wasn't!!
Spot on ptc, we needed the win and really pleased with the 3 points but tbh i was disgusted with the quality of football from both sides!!
Good result that was never in doubt once we got in front. Teddy Bish was awesome and capped off a great display with a brilliant piece of skill for the assist for Murphs goal. A solid Away performance and a clean sheet which is always pleasing. Yes there will be sterner tests as we will find out this week but we have broken the hoodoo and we are still very much in touch with the leading pack. A very satisfactory day at the seaside and I'm now off to see what other delights Blackpool has to offer!
