Blackpool- Gilks, Baptiste, Broadfoot, Cathcart, Crainey, Eardley, Ferguson, Basham, Ince, M Phillips, Taylor-Fletcher Subs- Halstead, Wabara, Angel, Gomes, Grandin, Delfouneso, Derbyshire Leicester- Schmeichel, De Laet, Morgan, Keane, Konchesky, Marshall, Drinkwater, King, Nugent, Kane, Wood Subs- Logan, Whitbread, Dyer, Wellens, Gallagher, Vardy, Knockaert
4-3-3 according to Craig Shakespeare I did put this formation out there. I think alot will rely on how Ben Marshall does as he cant go missing in midfield and neither can King Shakespeare also called the Blackpool pitch a disgrace
Good idea not to play Knocky in this match. Not a pitch for his super skills, plus he looked like he needed a rest. Marshall's corners have been rubbish so far though. Super Hull are 1-0 down.
With Kane here I'd love us to eventually play a 4-2-1-3 formation with Knockaert as the '1' playing just behind the front 3. Although I'd probably rather keep one of the strikers on the bench to come on later. Surprised to see Kane starting tbh, let's see why he's rated so highly!
Interesting. Switch to 4-4-2? Would we settle for a draw to stop the run of defeats, or is it all guns blazing for the win?
