Quite incredible, but yet another club decides to gamble on Nile Ranger.

The 23 year-old striker has found a new home in Blackpool after being released by Swindon Town.

Staggering really. He's proved beyond doubt that he's utterly determined to waste the talent that he's been given.

Poor discipline added in means he must be running out of places to go.

If anyone was going to sign him it would be a club that didn't have a full team to field. They will regret it in the long run.

Like it said on the BBC live football page: Nile Ranger in Blackpool sounds like a late-night reality show on Bravo...

Blackpool need players, so will probably take anyone on, whatever the past sins.

To be fair to Ranger though, he's never actually been locked up in Blackpool (yet).

From what I've seen of the place, I'm not even sure what you need to do to get locked up in Blackpool. Could be a match made in heaven!

Signing Nile Ranger two games into the season is like being in a club at 4am and all your mates have pulled some cracking talent while you were stood at the bar talking football with some random stranger. Just as you realise that you've run out of options and everyone is taken, you notice the bird sat on her own while all of her mates are off doing their thing elsewhere. Looking at her you already know its not the best option, and from the state of her you know you might be taking a few risks too. But the night is almost over, you've been too busy getting drunk to notice the time running out and you need to do something. Its not what you would have chosen and it's definitely not your finest hour, but all you can do is hope that everyone else is too busy focussing on what they are doing to notice. Its all about short term goals and filling holes.

They've signed one of the people I hate the most in this world! But obviously to be fair to them, they really are out of options, signing rejected players like Ranger may save them. Or might destroy them further.

Hopefully not the latter, as they're a nice club.
