A date for Sunderland's game against Blackpool at The Stadium has now been agreed. The game was originally scheduled to take place in October, but it was postponed due to the Black Cats having several players involved in international fixtures, and the game will now take place on Tuesday 12th February at 7.45pm. Ticket details will be announced in due course, but tickets bought for the original date will remain valid for the rearranged fixture. Supporter are advised that this fixture is not included in the 12-game season card package, though, and anyone who has bought this package can buy a ticket for the game at a reduced price by contacting the ticket office. It may not be possible to guarantee that the same seat will be available due to tickets already being sold for the original fixture.
They should have waited a bit to see if we would still be in the FA Cup in the new year. We could have a blank Saturday on FA Cup 3rd round day
Blackpool in good form at the minute so Feb should be a good time to play them. We would be playing Charlton away on the 5th Jan 3rd round day anyway, so I don't mind that match being postponed.
