    Be careful what you say people.................

    Unbelieveably, Owen and Karl Oyston ( Blackpool owners) are actually suing their own fans for libel following comments made on a fans forum.

    Yes this is very sad. What also worries me is how do they know who to be suing? We all have our user names, apart from me saying so myself that my name is Greg and I live in Reading how do they find this info out?

    The article initially mentions papers against a website but then at the end it reveals there are individuals who have been sued. Weird stuff.

    Just shows how crap the libel and slander laws are in this country, hiding a multitude of real sins behind the cost of legal action with laws biased in favour of the plaintiff.

    In this case however, the stuff published may well have been malicious, as far as I know. That shoud be the only measure - if you publish something you know to be false and damaging, you're nicked.
